WHAT IS YOUR WARFARE STRATEGY?
Recently I was talking to a fellow believer concerning the attacks of the enemy they were experiencing and the need to remain focus. I asked them this question, “What is your warfare strategy? This individual named a few things; however, from our conversation, I knew they were not utilizing any of the things they had named.
In the natural, nations will not go to war without a strategy (plan) and knowing what weapons they were going to employ during the battle. These nations knew what weapons they had available in their arsenal, they knew how to utilize them, and they did not wait for a battle to test them.
As it is in the natural, so we believers need to be in the spiritual. We need to be armed and dangerous. So, as I’ve done on several occasions in previous blogs, I will name some of the weapons we are to utilize and how they will assist you:
1. Prayer – tells you about the battle. (2 Kings 19:1-37).
a. Praise – gets you through the battle (2 Chronicles 20:22).
b. Worship – puts God in charge of the battle (Psalm 95:6-7a).
2. Word of God – upholds you in the battle (Psalm 17:4, Matthew 24:35).
3. Blood of Jesus – protects you in the battle (Revelation 12:11).
4. Name of Jesus – gives you power in the battle (Philippians 2:10,
Colossians 3:17).
5. Binding and Loosing – shortens the battle (Matthew 12:25-29; 18:18).
6. Spiritual Armor – equips you for the battle (Ephesians 6:13-18).
7. Fasting – prepares you for the battle (2 Chronicles 20:3).
8. Infilling of the Holy Spirit – fortifies you in the battle (Acts 4:29-31).
9. Praying in the Spirit – secret language for the battle (1 Corinthians 14:2,
Romans 8:26).
Additionally, I have found a careful examination of the battles that are written in the Word can instruct you on which strategy and tool to utilize as you fight the enemy.
Finally, don’t wait for the battle to begin, prepare NOW.
That is a great tip especially to those new to the blogosphere.
Brief but very precise information… Thank you for sharing this one.
