GUARANTEED SUCCESS

Whenever you purchase a product, it usually comes with a leaflet or handbook which contains a warranty and instructions from the manufacturer. These instructions are for you, the consumer to use so that you will have the maximum success. The manufacturer understands if the consumer follows the guidelines, they will be pleased with the product and possibly share their pleasure of the product with others.

The manufacturer does not know you personally, so they are not invested in you; they are invested in their name. It is their name that is on the line; therefore, the product must succeed for its’ namesake. The consumer’s success is vital for the expansion of the company; hence, the manufacturer will go to all lengths to protect their reputation and make the consumer happy. They will give you a warranty and even provide free return shipping if the product is defects.

God, the creator, is our manufacturer, and He made us to succeed. In Genesis 1, we are told the man was made in the image and likeness of God. Men have God’s essence, traits, and character. Men were made to dominate and influence. Men were given the freedom of choice with the ability to make the right one, and if the man needed help with choosing God gave man His Word. God’s Word is man’s instruction manual and following it guaranteed success.

In 2 Samuel 7:21-22, David said, “For thy word’s sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all these great things, to make thy servant know them. Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears” and Samuel shared this statement with Israel in 1 Samuel 12:22, “For the Lord will not forsake his people for his great name’s sake: because it hath pleased the Lord to make you his people.” The writer of Psalms 106 is unknown; however, the writer understood the actions of God as stated in verse 8 “Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.” All of these writers understood God’s interaction with a man was not predicated on man’s actions but Him. It was God’s Word that would not fail or be altered. His name is the only thing that man can trust, and it is only in Him that man can be guaranteed success.
