THE NEXT EVENTS HAS BEEN FORETOLD

The Bible shares with readers the next events that will occur on the earth prior to the rapture. Jesus has foretold these events in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21. Also, Paul shared events that would happen in 1 Thessalonians 5, 2 Thessalonians 2, and 2 Timothy 3. For believers who know the Word and are familiar with these scriptures, we realize that what we are experiencing are the events foretold by Jesus and Paul, and we understand that these happenings will increase and intensify.

There is now and will continue to be wars, rumors of wars, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, lawlessness, apostasy, and persecution of believers. We are interacting with people who are haughty, boastful, disobedient, unholy, disobedient to God and parents, troublemakers, liars, deniers of God’s power, selfish, hardheaded, betrayers, men who love themselves, love money, and love pleasure.

Since these events and ungodly traits are now an everyday occurrence and lifestyle, they signal that the rapture could happen at any time. Now is not the time to be lukewarm, distrustful of the Word, or turn from God. Now is the time to be wise and not deceived. Now is the time to make your calling and election sure.

As I have been doing on my blogs for the last several months, if you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, I encourage and invite you to do so. Our life is but a moment, while eternity is endless. The choice of worldly pleasures that are experienced for a moment will surely be regretted if your name is not written in the book of life. Choose wisely, for your choice will end in eternal happiness or everlasting torment.
