LIVE RAPTURE READY

Today may be the day the rapture takes place. Though individuals have attempted to give a specific date in the past when this would occur, they have been proven wrong. Even Jesus, in Matthew 24, stated that he does not know when God will send him to get His bride, which is his body. Knowing this, and what is going to happen to the earth and its inhabitants after the rapture, causes me — and I pray you also — to be on the alert.

There are some who believe we are in the tribulation period now. I am not one of those; I think it is yet to come. I do not believe God means for the church to experience the tribulation trauma. Paul reveals in 1 Thessalonians 1:10, “And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.” and Romans 5:9, ^“Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”

All the turmoil in the world, the climatic changes we are experiencing on earth, and the advancement of AI technology tells me that Jesus’ coming is imminent. I am expecting with great anticipation 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17, “For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

I am attempting to be alert and sober because of these warnings:

1 Thessalonians 5:2-6 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

Luke 12:39-40 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

Matthews 24:42-44 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Revelation 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

It is apparent that God wants believers to be watchful, sober, and ready; therefore, I am striving to do so and most assuredly to live rapture-ready.
